I've Got a Question

KYL Contract
Although Dr. Schwartz and Piedmont Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, P.A. (PPM&R) have opted out of Medicare, Government sponsored patients may still receive services by virtue of the following benefits offered by PPM&R:

1. The PPM&R business office has frequently been able to obtain reimbursement from secondary carriers for services rendered.

2. PPM&R has innovative "DRG" treatment plans by which patients can receive services for a specific condition, injury or illness on a flat rate, prepaid basis.

3. PPM&R will privately contract with patients for the provision of services on a reduced rate "pay as you go" basis.

4. PPM&R allows patients to enter into payment plans to pay for services
over a longer period of time.

5. PPM&R accepts discounted payments on a case-by-case basis depending upon individual circumstances.

6. PPM&R has a hardship policy that allows patients to make payments to the office in accordance with their financial circumstance.

Availability Options For Medicare Patients

There are numerous Medicare patients who receive treatment at PPM&R through one of these benefit options.  Referral sources should feel comfortable that, in most cases, a satisfactory benefit agreement can arranged.
We strive to help what hurts for patients and to serve the healing needs of referring physicians.
